July 29; WLP Group walk at Catholic Work Farm

​The WLP group walk on July 29 will be at the Catholic Worker Farm, a faith based farming community that works to build a land and craft-based economy with sustainable and socially just agricultural practices, located 5 miles from Lake City on Goodhue County 5. Walkers who want to participate and see the farm should meet at the Lake City Care Center Parking lot at 6:15 to be led out to the farm.
 
The group will  hear from one of the farm leaders about the mission and activities that take place there. There will be an opportunity for a walk in the farm prairie as well.  Water, bug repellent and walking poles are recommended.  Masks should be worn if social distancing is not possible.  Check the WLP Facebook page and website, walkinglakepepin.com for updates or call Patty Svien 345-4383 with questions.
