Last night June 29 the WLP group walk took place in Old Frontenac. The new owners of St, Hubert's Lodge, Jeff and Ann Bolin, greeted us at their new home and shared what they have learned since moving into this historic home. Jim Schreck also shared the history of the home which was built by one of the first people to settle in Old Frontenac. Isreal Garrard, who built this structure as a hunting lodge in 1855. He later made several additions to the structure and moved his wife and family to Old Frontenac. The group then proceeded to walk the streets of Old Frontenac stopping at some of the historic structures. Old Frontenac is an idyllic place that WLP never gets tired of visiting. ***No group walk on July 6.
